Religion and with it, the sense of sepratism is/was behind alot of how the world has developed or degraded over the years.

Christianity played a massive part in this in the past with the crusades and the like, but today its more about Islam versus the rest of the world - and the various factions/groups who centre themselves around their religion as a means of justifying conflicts/terrorism.

Andy how do you explain abiogenesis?

How do explain how highly enegergised light beams turned morphed into matter?

sepratism isn't born out religion... sepratism is human nature.

    this is a silly argument.

    How?

I thought most cosmologists ditched the big bang theory in favour of cosmic inflation?

Only a small sect of Christianity teach christianity as you know.... most religions have their own interpretation (Judaism believes the earth to be billions of years old).

    eh?

All that e=mc tells us that every object contains an energy which is eternal in this space time continuim... how does that explain abiogenesis?

In my opinion yes... But I wouldn't deny them the right to teach their children their beliefs.

    its all the same.

e=mc explains that anything with inertial mass in this space time continuim also has energy.... this doesn't explain how energy manifested itself as matter... it simply documents that the matter in our universe has an eternal energy (or at least until this universe cease to exist).

I fail to see how this explains that highly energised light beams manifested themselves as matter... it simply doesn't.

This is sheer speculation and far more harder to comprehend than the most primitive of bible theories.

Self replicating chemicals don't explain abiogenisis, they present a possibility... nor do they explain how those self replicating chemicals came into existence.

Who are you to dictate how and what children should be taught?

You can't even justify your own blind leaps of faith.

My children will recieve a Jewish education, who the fuck are you to tell me that your way is better? Faith schools work, I know plenty of non-religious parents who send their children to faith schools as the faith schools tend to produce better results.

41 million british citizens registered as christian in the 2001 census.

Only 40 of the 7000 faith schools weren't christian.

    Please stop posting fabrications.

Why should over 41 million people be denied the right to have the children educated according to their beliefs?

we pay the same taxes as you.

lol there are far more religious people than non religious people in the world?!? secularism is a modern western concept.

That aside, what the fuck does the global non-religious community have to do with British tax payers and how our children should be educated?

Again you're being super arrogant; who are you to determine what the christian religion is (adam and eve is open to interpretation from every sect and individual in christianity), what a faith school teaches and what the 41 million christians take from their religion?

We live in a free society Andy and to force such a huge demographic to subscribe to your beliefs is borderline fascism.

Values is the key word there mate . Morals and values should be the common ground for religions but there are so many different spins that can be put on it .

Imo a society without religion but with faith would make a better world completley .

but thats your opinion, my opinion is that a society with the culture (it goes beyond, morals, values, ethics and guidelines) that religion can offer would bring us much closer to utopia.

But the beauty of England is you're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine, if someone wants their child raised as a christian why should they be denied that right?
