its a great tune, the melody is genius and complimented perfectly by that complex bassline. the lyrics might not be too everyones taste - but think the vocoded voice works elegantly and is a million ways away from so much love to give.
Its the same bassline as loads of French House tunes, bit worn out IMO The sample is my favourite part of the tune, its from an 80's song innit? Can't remember which one tho!
but the way the bassline is tied into the tune seperates it form the rest, everything is moulded into place its more like listening to a classical compsoition the way everything builds and has its place... this song is massively underestimated by you lot. its a work of genius.
listen to it back a few times note the subtle melodic changes - the vocoded lyrics aren't lyrics as such and shouldn't be seen as cheesey repetitive lyrics they are infact another instrument an extrmely inivative and intelligent approach to french house.... even the drums sound basic but if you listen closely the way they bounce off each other is genius, the kick drum being sharp and the hi hat being muffled... very intelligent stuff.
Your making a mountain over a mole hill. The song is basic! it probs took them about an hour to knock up! They have done nothing decent since Homework.
try to look outside of the box they've redefined dance production, it may sound sameish to the untrained ear - but the thought that has gone into this tune is immense....
Joe its the same French house Alan Braxe and Ettine De Crecy were bringing out in the 90's!! What have they redifeined??
the production of the track very inivotive, the way everything interacts with each other and the composition is genius... try to look beyond "oh that sounds like something I;ve heard before" this tune is like fine cubist art - many people do just see badly painted shapes but to the trained eye these peices can invigorate very strong thoughts and emotions... I'd compare this song to a piece of fine art... most wont get - but those in tune with music composition will
You owe me 20p for use of a post i copyrighted yesterday. Just take off the tab of ones i've stolen! Joe> you've never posted like that about tunes you genuinely like, so it just sounds like bullshit.
