I seen more of an effort put into making this farm party as good as possible for everyone who went than I have in many events put on by big names such as godskitchen. It was unreal how well it was all set up and planned to be fair. The only thing 'missing' that is needed to satisfy the people who are mocking the idea here is big name DJ's.

Fair enough it's just a bunch of people setting up a party on a farm here with not a lot of experiecne but there is obviously a great deal of preparation and consideration for the punters put into it all the the potential for a future expansion is definately there.

The job you're doing james seems to be swell, but work needs doing on attracting the better looking species. Browsed through the photos other day and was disgusted at the attendees. Absolute horrors.

That's only cos it was over advertised as an 'anyone is welcome' event and once word gets out to one charva that it's £15 for all you can drink for 17 hours in the middle of the moors, him, his 10 m8's and all their cousins are soon on their way in their 1.1 Corsas :)

The crowd at FP2 was brilliant but quite a bit smaller. FP4 should crack it though! :king:

tbf i dont think you can say they put more effort into farm party than gods......dont get me wrong i like small events as much as the next person, but to put on an event as big as that takes more effort than you obviously appreciate.....It's not just 2 or 3 people organising a couple of people to come to an event full of local yokals.

we're looking into all the legalities at the mo

i.e all the insurance and public entertainment and liability orders that we need, not to mention all the licence's such as alcohol and others.

Our final goal is to make FARM PARTY an official and legal dance label, staging our own events all round the country. this may be 4-5 years down the line, but we're in for the long run and really want it to work.

i'm not saying it will, we might fall on our arse at the first attempt but we're gonna try, promise and goodgreef were'nt always the big names that they are now, so this gives us hope.

big thanx to Mark Maitland, Richard Tulip and everyone else who's shown there support,

I really don't think it's a good idea for you to talk so openly about the illegality of farmparty, if you're planning on doing more throughout the year.

Technically they don't need the PEL (Public Ents Licence) if they're doing a similar deal to the first 3 (a set fee in, all you can drink). This is because there is no actual "sale" of alcohol taking place, and so it can be classed as a private function.

However I'm almost certain that you do need the insurance and music licences (PPL, PRS) to go with it. All that shouldn't be hard to sort out tho ;)

you dont need a PPL licience,it costs alot, but im sure these are only for reselling music,£20000

but to tell the truth, running before you are walking is a bad idea...

you've been going a year or so..and telling every mesage board knowen to every trance/dance monkey almost every idea you intend to try and complete is stupid, big headed and makes yuo look silly.

no offense like...but u wont go far in life with a name like 'farm party'..:)

It's deffinitely not legal though, so either way the police could raid it and shut it down.

Just because the last police to visit were either unbelievabely dumb, or most likely incredibly laid back, it doesn't mean that the next lot will be.

Talking about the fact that you are holding illegal partys on two publically accesible internet websites is not a good idea, even if the authorities don't see any of the threads directly.

Also to second what Mr Elliott just said.
