Unfortunately instead of playing another corsten/tiesto collaboration (Vimana-We Came would have been mint) like he should have tiesto mixed it in to some shite trancer I'd never heard before

Probably for me at Promise in 2001 when PvD cancelled, Hardwick turned up and spun an inpromptu 6hr set.

The whole night was fucking unreal and epitomised Promise around this time, every week was totally top drawer regardless of who was playing and when i think back to around this time this is the night that always stands out.

Ive never been to a club anywhere that could have touched the club around this time, for atmosphere, crowd etc. Fucking awesome every week.

    Weekly Promise = :king:

Ill always remember that night was due to finish at 3am, though someone came on the microphone at 3 and said that the club had a 4am licence due to PvD being booked, and Matt wanted to stay for another hour if everyone in the club would also stay on.

The dancefloor erupted and Hardwick hoyed on Riva "Stringer" to kick off the last hour, the club was in fucking bits

Hardwick starting his 5 hour set at Promise with Holden & Thompson - Nothing (93 Returning Mix) was pretty fucking special.

A memory that always makes me laugh as well is when everyone went up to see Tiesto at The Arches and it was totally totally rammed, everyone kept loosing each other all night and nobody had a signal....So Purvy and Jimmy ended up walking round the club hand in hand so that they didn't loose each other.

Walking into Crasher for the first time and hearing Ashley Casselle drop Laurent Garnier - The Man With The Red Face and seeimng loads of cybers going off on the bridge. That was the moment I fell in love with clubbing. Scott Bond and Hardwick then went on to totally rinse the place to bits. Happy days

you're making me well up.... that was an amazing night. i think i danced all night near the back, right in the middle of the laser. :king:

i'd say that would be 1 of my recent moments in the '2nd phase' of my clubbing career. Me, Laz and Vandeburg had 'strayed' in by accident and i can't remember much from the night at all - more 'feelings' and brief snapshots - just us 3, all smiling and looking at each other going "OMG!", dancing at the back, all night, music got better and better, lasers, booming bass, loads of happy people, hands in the air. unforgetable.
