reading this topic is class....so many good memories of promise spring back into mind!

for moi favourite promise records over last 2 years are:

pulsar
pornoground
jetlag
love in traffic
solar stone
club bizzare
king of clubs
la la land
cafe del mar
godd..

so many more as well but these are my favs i could remember..oh yeah the aethiest as well, mr tulip likes this alot me finks!

totally agree wiv ya m8. this thread is class cos it just brings back so many memories, and wot fuckin class memories they r too, av only been goin since september, but they r collectin fast

Anyway heres some more of my faves... a few may not necessarily have been played at Promise, but they deserve a mention for the sheer quality

Jonny Shaker - Pearl River (Yup Liljem, this is a quality tune.. i can remember the rush when i first heard it 2 years ago)

Push - Strange World (A tune that restored my faith in trance when there was crap-all better at the time)

Push - The Legacy (One of the best build-up tunes I've ever heard.. if MIKE had made it he would have been crowned a god for playing this)

Faithless - We Come One (Hammer and Hiver Mix) (Excellent remix from the duo, nice build up to an extended trance break - and theres one tune I love to mix into it)

and that is..

Aria - Dido (Armin Van Buuren's Universal Religion Mix)
(one constant rush of a track deserves to be played at Promise.. it's one constant high! The 2 minute intro would be one of the best opening's of a set i've heard, and would open it up for a harder-egde trance set - GO ON RICHARD, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO PLAY IT! )

DJ Scot Project - Overdrive (BANGIN! Thats all i can say. I've only heard this played live once, and the crowd reaction was off the scale!)

I dunno, personally that track sends me crazy when the set seems ready for it - it's injects a bit of energy, picks people up and sends me on a rush to the acid bits before the build up.
