Im a student, id planned to stick a few hardship claims in but aparently sunderland have scrapped them for this year! If you can get one go for it! It's so crap that loans are means tested, i feel sorry for everyone who gets a crap loan. Do you have to pay your own fees too EllieLou?
I thought this too.....if you're that desperate for money then get rid of your car and go public transport...or buy a bike or something. Wish I got £320 a month....the loan that I get doesn't even cover my accomodation at Uni, so everything else I have to pay myself I NEED A JOB!!!
Unfortunately itd probs cost me more in bus fares to get to and from work. I live in county durham, and work at heaton. Also i wudnt be able to get to work for 7am! Already thought of this !
my mate done a dental nurse course in glasgow where she got paid some rubbish amount each month...she was working & studying for this alone full time but had to get an extra 3 jobs to be able to afford to live! the nhs & the government are shite!
Thanks for reminding me !!! only kiddin.... Too true....but the pay is gettin better ....at least itll be 10times more than i get now x
a bit...my mams a nurse & if i do a bit of overtime & get a half decent bonus (well used to) i can come out with more than her....her jobs much more worth while than mine too
In the paper last night apparently sunderland uni are putting there fees up to 3K a yr. i just don't see how they can possibly justify charging that when the standard of teaching is so crap! the resources are shite too Im lucky i dont have to pay my fees, i dont think i would have went if i had to pay 3k.
