hold on a sec somethings seems to be a bit off here

ive been reading all the various threads about digital and some people saying that they were trying to ruin smaller nights and theres something i dont understand. please somebody correct me if im wrong cause i dont know the ins and outs of this situation, im only going off what ive read on this board and i'll hold my hand up if im wrong.

fingers crossed ive haven't just missread this whole situation but here goes..........

digital have or are going to move evolve to the same friday of the month that junior:G had. digital say this is just to try and accomidate other nights at the club and has nothing to do with junior:G.

other people say that digital have intentially moved evolve to the same fridays as junior:G to try and squash them out of newcastle
why then if barry and co at goodgreef honestly thought for one second that digital had done this to put junior:G out of business, why then would they go and book digital for a goodgreef event?

would they just forget the fact that digital had potentially preformed dance scene sabotage and done them over and just be thinking about how high profile digital is and the money making potential?

your thoughts please......

At the end of the day it's potentially only gonna be bank Holiday Sundays anyway as Shindig is obviously on a Saturday and I can't see GG going to a Friday. So they've probably both just realised that for Bank Holiday Sundays there's a lot of money that could be raked in both for Digital and GG. I'm sure they've both just let by-gones be by-gones!!!!

think your totally right like, i guess at the end of the day with all of goodgreefs big events on around the country, how bothered about junior:G were barry and them anyway. i think it was just to try and keep the goodgreef brand up in newcastle but no need if they can make so much money through main goodgreef events at a club like digital on bank holiday weekends

Fri ggs well it may work but with wax on turbulence etc there aint no free fridays.

unless they bin evolve and well you never know, the only night they pull in lots of punters are for hard nights, were as gg is more of an established name and will fill digital regularly

Its weird how there seems to be so much politics in clubbing, when all its meant to be about is dancing all night to some brilliant tunes and having a good time.

the BIG nights at BIG clubs are all about money because it's so large scale and so much money is on the line. small nights usuually aren't (at the start)

i thought if they were gonna do one off events on bank holiday wknds in newcastle it would be somewhere like lkon or whatever its called now

like when they did those couple of promise meets goodgreef events (come together) remember them??

does anybody remember that come together weekender they had planned but it got cancelled????
