    asda smart price tin of curry - surprisingly REALLY nice!!!!! i was skint, i thought it would be shit but its lush!

    (PS i agree that curry in tins is fundamentally incorrect, but what the hey!)

    Update. I went on Saturday and this had risen to 89p. Dunno if it was just on special offer or summit last time i got it? Still nice, but not the bargain i thought it was. A good Own Brand Hero tastes nicer knowing it was a bargain too.


    Another one to add. Morrisons Curry Sauces in the jars. Particularly the jalfrezi and Rogan Josh ones. :up:

    I realised this because i have just made myself a curry using Tescos Rogan Josh sauce. It looked lush while i was cooking it, i was so looking forward to eating it, but it turned out to be soooooooooooooo disappointing. Made me appreciate how good the Morrisons ones are. :love:

    U can get the really cheap Tesco Value ones too. Think there something stupid like 30p for a huge bar, but ive never tried it. Cant imagine its great, but u never know.

    Aldi Chocolate isnt the cheapest but its better than Cadburys etc....... in fact EVERYTHING Aldi sells is "own brand" and fucking lush.

    Like me fatha said the other day....."Aldi is German and they dont eat crap son!"
