I'm having a special adamantium/platinum hat forged as we speak, in a japanese foundry.

It will deflect not only radiowaves from mobile phone towers, but ESP from extra terrestrials and ELF waves used for mass mind control.

when he gets told to move on and just refuses to, it makes you realise how compliant most of us are most of the time and how accepting of a police state we now are

even the police couldn't do anything when he challenged them as to which law they were asking him to move on with. it would be different if there wasn't a camera there though

This might just be me ... but have you noticed that school buildings now resemble maximum security prisons these days.

back on topic .... its classic Fabian Society incrementalism (Blair and Brown are both members) - 10 years on from everyone pissing themselves with excitement about the tories getting kicked out, and we are now being scanned naked at airports, being killed by our own police for protesting, and being arrested for daring to take photos or shoot videos involving public buildings.

Makes you wonder doesnt it. If it was pro establishment he was going on about, would he be ushered along as quickly? Fucking winds me up how they resemble policemen though. Why is this allowed? What would happen to a person if they wore a uniform that looked just like a policemans and started ordering people around?

Thats pretty much exactly what they are eh - regular people in fake policemens outfits, who speak like they can tell you what to, but in action fact they have very little power.

We are conditioned to accept people dressed up like this to be figures of authority tho eh.

hey Brid don't expect the tories to wind back any of this stuff. The right have their own authoritarian tendencies too. It's a tragedy that in England there is no effective liberal voice. the choice is between the dictatorship of the proletariat or the dictatorship of the rich and greedy.
The public are often characterised as apathetic but I have noticed a growing sense of anger that the idiocies and aggressiveness of many government responses to the ‘war on terror’ and health and safety ‘rules’ are making life in the UK increasingly unpleasant. Is there a phrase less consistent with British values than ‘zero tolerance’yet it is one we are increasingly asked to support. we're all fucked.
