Here's my personal take on things for what it's worth...

I have had far better times at shindig/Foundation than I have had or will have at Shindig/Digital.

The sound was never been an issue for me at Foundation so Digital doesn't score + points on that one. The toilets, height of the DJ box & general layout of the club are a bit of turn off for me and it does have the feel of a ritzy no matter what BPM is banging out.

The major + point is the upstairs room though it doesn't make up for the main room space imo.

Foundation was very similar to the Arches for me. I could get messed up, have a fucking laugh with ma mates and any random on the dance floor beside me.

At my times at Digital I just havent enjoyed it as much as I would that same DJ and music at a different venue and the crowd hasnt been wrecked clubber friendly in my experience.

I went to Habit/CB the other week and had a fucking ball. Jumping about with randoms (+Quick) on the dancefloor, headlocks, wrestling, pile on's the lot.

I would still go to shindig if they booked a DJ I want to see but I dont get excited about the venue/night anymore.

from a djs point of view digital wins hands down and not just because of the sound and dj booth.

the fact the downstairs venue is split in 2.
if the club is quiet the dancefloor area always looks solid and busy. and people can get away from it in the main bar if they wish.

then theres the fact its not a sweat box and scruffy (the complaints we got when we were at foundation were never ending.....and thats the main reason we decided a move was needed)

then theres the bars.... the choice is amazing and service is second to none. and you get your drink in a glass not a plastic beaker.

lets face it djs like sasha, deep dish and morillo cant be wrong when they say its one of the best clubs around.

1 thing i do think lets it down is the lack of seating..... but if the balcony in foundation was shut there was hardly any seats there either
