aye i'd be up for it, where's the cosmic ballroom mate?

It's the new name for The Stage Door. It re-opens next week after a refurbishment and is gonna be wicked.

I had a sneaky peek arund the club last week and they've moved the DJ booth into the middle of the room, built a new stage at the far end, stripped the room to give it a more warehousy feel and put a geet big fuck off new soudsystem in. The upstairs has been made much bigger too.

Our FRAGILE nights will be on the 1st Weds of every month, starting on 1st March, but Pete Robinson & Nick Adams (Deepdownanddirty) have Richard Fearless from Death In Vegas DJing at the club next Thursday!!

Can't remeber of the top of my head where I took the sample for excited. It was a track on an old Mixmag CD from over ten years ago though.

Definatley get yourselves down the Cosmic Ballroom. Going to be a cracking little club and we've got one or two nice wee suprises for our nights. Flyers should be knocking about as of this week

Gather round folks, let's get nice and deep with the Mixed Pickles crew. _I've never heard of them before but they clearly know the score when it comes to devilishly deep house. Both cuts here are driven wholly by empowering bass tones that suck you right in while the crafty percussion makes you move. With tunes this rich in atmosphere and presence, I think we'll hear a lot more of Mixed Pickles in future.

Mixed Pickles - I'll Show You Acid (Fragile)

It's the second hit of the month for the mysterious Mixed Pickles and it's equally as hot. I'll Show You Acid is a deep, groovesome slice of house that builds into a ravey, triumphant climax. Remix-wise James Talk gives the whole workout a boot up the keister to great effect and label boss Paul Lancaster applies the Adonis 'No Way Back' approach, again to excellent effect.
