Yeah that's just a projector that you'd buy for about £1700 and then realise you look like a puff when you show your friends

As for hologram phones.. I'd really like to see evidence of this as I can imagine it's about as useful as our video calling.. shit quality and pointless

Edit: In fact I don't believe for one second that they have phones in Japan that projects a hologram of the caller. That kind of technology would have made its way onto the news surely.

Talkin of not takin things in when it comes to technology, me mam went out to get another wireless USB dongle for the net, n comes back with an 8gb memory stick Unreal.

I have no doubt they exist, I've read about the possibility a few years ago.. but as far as walking into a shop and buying a phone goes, I doubt they're widely available. I agree with you also.. it's just silly.

Why turn a phone into something else? I can just imagine a bus full of people, all of them with a hologram in front of them. or a night out in town.. people falling all over the place cos they've lost focus on what's actually real.
