    Nah it is man...

The past couple of line-ups you's have had on have undeniably been top draw, but it will never work at the Attic.

Theres been a few nights over the past 12 months that have tried & failed there after spending a fortune on line-up's (Lube, Promise & Balance are the main 3 that spring to mind).

    It's a non starter.

Unfortunatly Newcastle just isn't full of galleries and fabrics. We can only try our best really. With abit if luck itl work out. Just trying to offer something different for people up here who don't wan to spend every month in Leeds or other cities like I seem to.

Definitely, I dont want to put you guys off either! but I speak from experience when I say you can put 1000's into these type of nights, waste every night postering the streets of Newcastle & get nothing in return come the night of the event - Most of us have been trying since Promise closed it's doors in 04/05.

Were just not Leeds, Manchester or London unfortunately.

After some very careful consideration of all mix entries spanning from House to Techno, DJ's from as far as Newcastle to the Netherlands, we are proud to present the lucky winner who will be playing our Gatecrasher event @ Digital Nightclub on 11th December Ft. Judge Jules, Matt Hardwick & Gary Proud...

    MIKE BEAUMONT (Nottingham).

    Biog:
2009 has proved a pretty epic year for Mike, having played at some of the leading trance nights running throughout the country today. Highlights include closing the night at Amplified in Derby with John Askew and Ben Gold, being asked to play Leeds’ biggest trance night, Digital Society in the sought after Invitation Room as well as pre-party duties for the legendary Gatecrasher’s White Party and 16th Birthday events.

Mike also had the honour of making his OTR (Off The Rails) debut in September, where the event made a long awaited return as part of the Insomniacz 10th Birthday in Sheffield. What can only be described as an explosive performance along side good friend and fellow DJ Swap, Mike was announced as one of the new OTR residents for much anticipated re-launch come October.

Priding himself on diverse sets, he finds inspiration from many of the greats on the circuit including the likes of Sean Tyas, Simon Patterson, Sander Van Doorn and Richard Durand. With such an obvious passion for his music, expect to hear the perfect blend of driving sounds with spine-tingling euphoric riffs delivered with an infectious energy of which this DJ is already well renowned for throughout sets of the highest calibre.

keep your eyes peeled for Mike hitting a club near you very soon!

As a HUGE thank you to everyone who entered the competition, Gatecrasher would personally like to offer all contestants free entry to Decembers event, these include:
    Pete Drury (Nottingham)
    Tristan Guy (Ireland)
    Lee Potts (Newcastle)

Which room is being used for the Kill The Lights party? Cos it says the Other Rooms on the original flyer however according to Digital's site someone called O Children is on in the Other Rooms. Surely they can't expect Matt to play in the room leading out to the smoking terrace. Upstairs surely?

By the way Matt's done a KTL podcast:

KILLTLPC01 - Kill the Lights Podcast November 2009

Way Out West - Only Love (Jerome Isma-Ae Remix)
Josh Gabriel pres. Winter Kills - Deep Down (Original Mix)
John O'Callaghan - Every Lesson Learned (Matt Hardwick Remix)
Mike Koglin & POS - Autumn (Original Mix)
Ferry Corsten - Radio Clash (Ozcan Remix)
Kyau & Albert - Love You (Original Mix)
Adam Nickey - Callista (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
Filo & Peri - Ashley (Alex M.O.R.P.H Remix)
Temple One - Sahara Nights (Original Mix)
Dash Berlin - Waiting (Sean Tyas Remix)
Matt Hardwick vs Gulf - Impossible (John O'Callaghan Remix)
