    not all southerners like our accent, Kens mam hates my accent, & she told ken he'd better not come back home with an accent like mine! :mad: :lol: but kens mam ain't a southerner so does it count?? :think:

    No, you pronounce 'school' as "skewel", 'book' as "buwk" and where the "kerry" thing comes from I'll never know...

    It's always good fun making mackems say 'Spennymoor school roof' too :D

    Southeners sound common imo - my sisters gotta "cockney" accent and i think its shit! :p

    The Manc. accent can be nice though. Well, if you start moving just outside Manc, to the top end of Cheshire (Alrtincham, Alderley Edge, etc, etc.)

    I also cant stand a thick Swansea accent.. how thick do they sound!

    Kens not cockney that fook! *phew* cos i don't like cockney accents....he doesn't understand me most of the time tho specially when i'm excited bout something...i'm like a hamster on speed! :blush: :lol:

    i thinks its cos she doesn't understand a lot of what i say,...neither does Ken tho & he speaks canny english...well except for saying newcarstle! :evil: :mad: :rolleyes:

    No, I do actually say "I don't know", or at least "I duno". Don't think I've said "divvent knaa" in a long time!

    Deffo agree with that like!

    As for the Geordie dialect.....I never use those words, but I guess they get replaced with new ones as time goes by.

    I don't really like extreme geordie accents when they are on the telly, cos they usually say something stupid and everyone thinks we are thick
