They had a very broad music taste were very very knowledgable on all aspects of music - the first time I've ever really learnt loads off any1 at promise... they were very knowledgable.

I've always felt a bit out of place at dance clubs cos i look like Adam from Lab-4 and like a lot of industrial, black metal and psytrance as well as hard house. :spangled:
Lab4 R cool cos they just stick 2 fingers up at musical genres and i can say i've never met anyone with such a passion for what they do!!!

- dave pearce has a v.impressive music background- mostly in hip hop.

- he has to the floor experience of clubs in the UK and New York (dj'd there a lot when he was younger)

- he has a sound and varied musical taste, outlined by the fact that he presents a show for the most influential and respected broadcasting corporation in the world.

- pete tong is behind many of the highly successful stock/aitken/waterman tunes of the late 80's (sonia/kylie/5star) - this didn't make him shit - he is a fucking class dj.

a lot of people wank on about how shite jules and what a wanker he is - dickheads - dance music would have been a lot different if it hadn't bin for KISS...

people are gettin so dedicated to the music and certain djs/clubs that they forget to smile and remember that clubbin is supposed to be fun!

I remember always recording Judge Jules live when i first got into dance music.
It was fun then but personal taste progresses...
People shouldn't give a rat's ass about what other people think .;
Just enjoy the music you like.
For example, if someone played me Dave Pearce and i didn't know who it was, i would probably enjoy it...

I got mistaken for one of Lab 4 sooo many times, I felt bad for it!

Although as many of you know I don't go out as often as most the board (to real dance night clubs anyway) I always have a good time when I'm out no matter which DJ/s is or are on. I adjust to the style and enjoy it each time, therefore I can love Yoji Biomehanika, Ferry Corsten, Lisa Lashes and even Mauro Picotto now. I'm sure I'd enjoy Pearce aswell.

I'd kill to see DJ Rush/Umek live atm though, DJs I doubt i'll see for a long time. I watched a 200mb video of Rush in Nature one last year and it looked amazing.

I agree with a lot of your points and a lot of negativity can come from message boards however people pay good money to see DJ's who are being paid thousands of pounds for a couple of hours work.

Critiscm is okay IMO if it's backed up with some facts and reasons.

u only need to get tom to stand behind a pair of decks & u can recreate it anyways!!
