    Like what?

'No sorry son you cant come in because we suspect you may be a charver'

if those charvers didnt turn up then the event couldnt happen because , as someone said , 70% of the people there were charvers.

As for the music , you knew who was playing before you bought your ticket

I have no idea why any sensible person went! But each to their own.

i went because armin was on n i'd never seen him before. was worth it as well :)

jules only gets these gigs to draw in the crowds, cos all the charvs who dont know anything about the dance scene think its 'cool' if they go and see him play. but, like someone said if it wasnt for the charvas it'd be empty and no point hostin the event!

    PRINCESS JANE -

by 3am we'd had our fill.

Highlights for me included teenage charva mams comparing stretch marks.

Fergie's Space Invaders samples (and I normally like his Radio One shows.

And the production budget of £45. five pub fruit machines and an old car.

In a workingmen's club somewhere inn the north commitee members are looking at a patch where their bandits used to be.

"I cannit understand it. we've had neebody in all night, a part from them nice lads from Birmingham.

It was OK, if I hadn't been working I wouldn't have gone.

PS almost forgot another greeeeeat GK moment when a charva was pulled out ny the sniffers and was being walked to the monile police staton.

He was on his toes within 30 seconds and the polis gave chase, fell over at the top of the stairs, stood up and fell down again.

    hilarious

    and the crim got away

Dunno what people are complaining about- yeah there were chavers and posers but that's to be expected. Overall it was a quality night!

Everyone played a good set in the main room,I thought, apart from Judge Jules who was hit and miss as always and Ferge who was diabolical! We even went to see Lisa Lashes while he was on, and she sounded half decent in comparison. I dunno what the fuck Fergie thought he was doing at the end of his set but it was making my ears bleed!

Armin was good as ever but he did play all the obvious tunes. Set of the night for me though had to be O Bir- I thought I might have been lagging in energy by 4am but his set kept me going. And Hardwick was quality as always- perfect end to the night.

    :king:
