It was a tradition when i was an apprentice at the council to go out on a thursday night cos it was payday. I wasnt the only kid pulling these stunts :D

My mate fish fell asleep in the van when he got back to the depot. The bloke he was working with just got out and left him. This was at 2pm on the friday. Bare in mind the council finished at 2.30pm on the friday...

He woke up in an empty depot at 20 past 5

I did far too much last year at uni and suffered through early morning lectures and labs. I can't face it now and I'm trying to focus more on my work, trying! The smell of the labs on a hangover is something I can't face, it knocks me sick

Re: Going out on school nights

    it kills me now,

i used to think nothing of going out on a monday night (used to be the main student night in town) take £30, get absolutely hammered, pay for taxi and kebab, have change out of my money left ?!??! then get up for 9am uni lecture, cant handle it now stick to the weekend and spend about £90 for one night with no change :(

I do it and I'm pretty good at it now, I can pretty much rock into work and be fine except for a bit of a headache really. Though there have been a few occassions where I've realised later I may have still been drunk in the morning....Ooops! The best one when one of our managers was laughing at me for stinking of vodka eeek

    That was so bad!

I had to go for full family dinner! It wasnt that bad it was relitively dark, thank god it was xmas and thank god for fairy lights or the truth would have been known....

I used to go out all the timeon a friday when I worked at Clarks on a saturday morning, It really was wrong fitting kids shoes ill as hell from the night before...

Now Ive got a full time job I love going out week nights but do try and be careful as I know how bad I end up feeling! On the phone all day theres no way of avoiding people...

    Urgh! Its hideous!

I found it worse when I worked in a call centre like, there's nowt worse than being hungover, ill or tired and having to talk to complete knobs all day.

I don't usually go out on work nights but I do if I've got weekend overtime. It's only 4 hrs and i can just hide because all we do is tidy up on a weekend.
