Sorry i forgot you have a night to promote for a minute! ;)

I never said he sounds like Fake, just that their music isnt really full on dancefloor stuff. As with a lot of Border Community releases.

Ive never seen him live or heard a live set im just going off all his tracks ive heard.

If Gazebo is not full on dance floor material then I'm not sure what is...

Some of his newer stuff is made for his new album which is obviously not gonna be full of club bangers.

I suggest you listen to a live set of his before making judgements on whether it will work in a club or not, then again you are probably listening to a set of paul van dyk playing binary finary and for an angel :)

At the moment im listening to:

    Sian - Apple Tree

Nice track and definately not made for the dancefloor. :)

Gazebo isnt the best example either - a set full of tracks like that would bore the shit out of me personally.

Why not actually go to a club and listen to these tracks/artists instead of sitting there criticising everything you can?

if Apple Tree doesnt work on the dancefloor then why are people saying this:

    Vector Lovers (Soma) - 2007-09-10

    love this. both superb tracks.

    Trickski - 2007-09-10

GREAT WORK BY EFDEMIN! I REALLY LIKE IT! WILL DEFINITELY PLAY IT A LOT!

    Spirit Catcher - 2007-09-10

I luvvv the Efdemin remix...Perfect afterparty track!!!

    Satoshi Tomiie - 2007-09-10

    Loooove this release!

Prins Thomas (Full Pupp) - 2007-09-10

love love love the original. Will play it a lot. Simple yet addictive chords.

    Philip Shurburne (WIRE) - 2007-09-10

Wonderful, luscious stuff. I love the clave pattern in the original, and I love the deep, murky feel of it. Gorgeous! I expect to hear this opening or closing many a Mix cd come early 2008. Efdemin, true to form, pares it back to the bare essence, teasing out the muscle without losing any of the nebulousness. Another winner for Aus.

    Miss Jools/Sleeperthief - 2007-09-10

love it ,very nice remix also

    Mazi Namvar(Fabric London) - 2007-09-10

Both versions are right up my alley and beautifully written. The B-side is just a bit more dance floor and will get more plays as a result. I love the A-side for end of night or after-after situations.

    Martin Landsky (Pokerflat) - 2007-09-10

great record, i like both tracks, efdemin is my favourite though....

    Loco Dice (Cadenza/Ovum) - 2007-09-10

Good chilled track for sunny moments. I like efdemin´s mix, very warm and melodic.

    Laurent Garnier (F-Com) - 2007-09-10

I absolutely love this ,i love Aus records, give me moooore! Full support from me.

    Jamie Jones (Crosstownrebels) - 2007-09-10

I love Efdemins stuff, and this remix is cool, but the original is good too. Both nice and deep.

    James Priestley - 2007-09-10

2 really solid tracks, loving the deepness.

    Italoboyz (Mothership) - 2007-09-10

both very nice dark-balearic-ish tracks... really like the landscapes of the efdemin remix..

    Geoffroy Mugwump - 2007-09-10

killer original. Great remix. Best Sian yet for me.

    Dirt Crew - 2007-09-10

Original nice and moody, like it , efdemin as always outstanding and deep!

    Dadableep (RZ Records) - 2007-09-10

One nice warm up track, the other one a bit more crispy pushing with emotional power – exactly what I like to play... housy and not too minimal! Thanks for these nice tunes.

    d'julz - 2007-09-10

    very classy remix, will play.

    Carl Craig (Planet E) - 2007-09-10

    Excellent!!

    3 Channels - 2007-09-10

Great ep !! Remix is amazing.

    2000andone (100%pure/ Intacto) - 2007-09-10

very moody efdemin remix, classic detroit feel for those early morning sunrise sets. will play this and will be in my september charts for sure. thanx!!!!

So your saying to me that the original of Apple Tree is dancefloor material?

I havent got the Efdemin mix - id does away with the lush bassline of the original.

Tracks like that are being played by djs at clubs all over the world by people like Dixon/Ame/Efdemin/Sebo K/Shindoe/Carl Craig/Laurent Garnier/Prosumer/Secretsundaze boys etc etc etc etc....you obviously wouldnt play it at the peak of a set but clubs outside of Newcastle are open until stupid o clock in the morning so theres a bit more scope for non obvious stuff

Believe it or not, you dont need an electro bassline and loads of Commodore 64 samples to make some people dance.

Come to the next Habit and i might even play it for you

     Honestly!?

Its not peak time music is basically what you just said. The Efdemin mix is though.

Have you actually heard the original?

I never said you did! Anyways enough of that we'll be here all night because we'll disagree for hours.

Does this site do uncompressed wavs by any chance? Beatport is the only site i know of that does so ill have to keep using it im afraid!

Is there something wrong with using it anyways? You seem to hold a grudge against it for some strange reason! :spangled:

Nothing wrong with Beatport, just nice to spread your business over a wider plain to make sure the market doesnt get monopolised.
