certain tunes do it for me.. the stuff that doesnt have much melody or build ups and drops can stay in the box. I just copied Lashed off my m8 and theres some decent tunes on cd2 but I might just be liking them because they were played at lashes a few weeks ago.. I had a great night too!

I still prefer my harder trance tho..

whenever i used to (attempt) to mix HH in my room i would always buy "set fillers" and "big tunes" as it were.

I would play as set that would (in my ideal world) scale up and down, Peak, and drop.. there is no peak in any sets ive seen recently. And there are very few "big tunes" that would get the crowd going.

If this repetitive tripe is the future then i think we should move on and not allow any of it in foundation :)

Depends who's playing and what playing - some HH is class, but lots of it is steaming dog-shitey shite shit.

All opinions respected, but I would pick up on the point that it is most of what YOU have heard recently. You dont have to look very hard at all to find hard house tunes that are very different to what Maitland has put in that set to download. It gets a bit harder and a great deal softer than those tunes.
There is plenty of excellent fresh stuff and ideas around that never see the light of day except in DJ promo sets. There is also a lot of funkier stuff around the last few months too.

The only thing I prefer about trance over hard house is you can go and queue up for a piss , chat and a refill of your water bottle and still be back for the end of the breakdown :)
