Thats the only thing that would make me waste my time travelling to a voting station to mark a cross against anything.

You gotta laugh when people come out with the 'i cant stand people who dont vote x,y,z....' line. Lets compare income tax figures on our P60's and see who has more of a right to cast a political opinion ;)

That probably came out harsher than it was meant to - but i dont like being tarred with the 'your an idiot because you dont vote' brush when in actual fact im probably in the top percentile of people who contribute to the country (and still skint). No that wasnt supposed to sound arrogant either.

what are your reasons for disliking the tories?

i don't think there is much chance of the tories winning anyway. if the tories had managed to elect portillo as leader though, it may of been a very different story.

i still voted conservative though. :)

i disagree with him and whoever else believes that labour should not get another term in power.
being an 'educated' teacher i am not alone in thinking they've done one hell of a lot for the education system and given longer in power then they're gonna do even more

i'm glad you feel they've done a lot in your field - and they have already said that they'll be doing more for education in their next term - BUT it still doesn't mean they've done owt else any good in EVERYONES eyes in ALL aspects... there's an overall picture to look at, not just a sector...

I didnt need anything, just had to confirm my name and address.

And the Tories have gone even further down in my estimation after this election. I hated them to start with but when they concentrate on saying Blair is a liar etc etc instead of concentratng on policies, I really dont see the point and have no hope for them whatsoever.
