    I agree. I know News etc was set up so you could find decent discussion without trawling through pages of dross, but it has just made the Banter section even worse. One or two decent threads often encourage people to post more decent ones.

    I'm happy to go with most of the ideas that are being put forward but I have no extra time to sort any of this myself.

    I think we could do with picking 5 people to make the call on what we want to do to change the board as well as modding policies etc.

    Bit of a council I suppose, they won't be admins but they will decide who is an admin and what we are doing to improve the board.

    I will give them full control for 6 months then reconsider my position at that point, if it works I'm happy to take a back seat from now on but I will keep paying for any hosting costs.

    It's almost like a democracy lol.

    Thoughts?

    If people like the idea let me know when you have picked your 5 peeps. We will then have a vote to see if the board is happy with the nominated 5 (50% or higher and we proceed as I said above).
