Yeah, the Vestax are class and I love mine to bits but Technics are in 90% or bars/clubs that your gonna play in so it makes sense to have the same equipment at home:)
The Mark 5's are nice, 1200's still look the best tho!

I can't mix but I can turn those little bass/treble knobs up and down at the right time to make it sound cool as fuck.

7 years now, 3 years playing out. I've got my trusty Pioneer CDJ800, 2x 1210s and a Gemini UMX5 mixer. I've got a pair of Omnitronic direct drive decks for sale if anyone wants them, not bad for those wanting to try their hand!

I try and use it as much as possible but SUBTLEY. The potential for it is massive but most of the FX are pretty useless as the pad isn't accurate enough. The BMP FX are class tho :D . Oh and the time keeping on it is bollox, but that might be me.

I use it rarely and use the odd filter and the sampler as well as some of the BPM effects which I agree are good aswell!
When I first got mine I used them loads and I know the thing inside out but alot of the time I don’t feel the need to use it.

I think that most DJ's including myself do it because they love it, I don't think there would be any point in Djing if you looked upon as a chore but its class playing out in front of people:love:
