Costs and all that aside, its fucking amazing over their and im definatly going back, shall be for a long time aswell.

I'm still possibly going tomorrow afternoon to try & land a job for the summer as all the big nights are interviewing in the next 2 weeks.. not a chance I could work for a bar on the west end but if I land a job for any of the big nights/clubs i'll stay... need to make a massive decision rather soonish.. nowt like leaving it to the last minute.

I reckon the vast majority will be from eurozone countries though?

The Clubs last year didnt fill up till like 2am to 3am and where then rammed yeah but much later than normal.

Two summers ago was a record breaker for the island but this one will bomb worse than the summer the Euros was on, mark my wise words.

Isn't Ibiza vastly UK-populated come festival season?

It did originate from London after all..

Theres something like 2-3 million people go every year and about a third are from britain.

I've been once and ran out of money and probably won't ever go back because of how expensive it is. I'm supposed to be going this year but can't see me and Nicky pulling £2grand spends together between now and September! And that's only for a week!

Think I'll be chilling on the costa del cheapo! I know people who go year after year after year though.

To go to a few nights and festivals that even touch on Ibiza in this country over summer ends up costing a fortune by the time you factor in ticket, transport, hotels and supplies. So if that's what your into your just aswell going to ibiza.

All the usuals I know are still booked up for summer, some more than once and I know few people going for the first time this yr.

I am in my usual stage of not going but keeping an eye on flight prices, lol. Although it does make much more sense to go all inclusive somewhere out of Europe for a couple of weeks which is probs what we will do. But that's my sitution if I was going on a mates hol I would be going to ibiza. I don't think Ibiza will suffer more than anywhere else.

What happened to the rumour they are shutting down the clubs and turning the island into an exclusive golfing resort over the next few yrs anyway?

For me its combination of things, cant really be arsed to write out some poetic speech on why i love it.

All i can say from the first time i went their iv been hooked ever since, and money has never really come into it lol. It just an amazing place.

The quality of the club life over their needs to be seen to be believed imo, walking into Amnesia for the 1st time is an eye opener for anyone.

Ibiza`s an Amazing place !!

Ibiza isnt as good as some people make out like. If it wasnt so expensive it'd be better but it still isnt the great place people make out. People go year in year out and never experience anything else. That's probably why they think its the greatest place in the world, cos they've only been there.

Everyones different I suppose.

To be fair youd struggle to have any sort of a time over there with no funds, even as a worker where everything is cheap/free youd still need at least a bit of wedge to fall back on.
