there's loadsa ppl on this board who ive never met, this didnt use to be the case...
theres a fairly direct link between everyone knowing each other and us alll playing nicely...
last time this happened everyone met up and it all became hunky dorey. maybe organise a time and place inside promise to introduce yourself to the rest of the board. ithink this would solve a few problems..

and if it didnt, least we know what the cunts who fuck this board up look like

Agreed. I love this board and the amount of people that it's helped me meet, all of whom have turned out to be quality people. It's a sad state of affairs when, after 2000 posts, I'm actually thinking about not posting as much because I always seem to be criticised or shouted down for having a laugh, giving reasoned comment or even posting too much (if that's possible?). No member of the board should feel this way because this isn't the way this board works. This is the friendliest board I know of and, deep down, I don't think that has changed.

Step back and look at the community that we've built up. It's amazing when you think about it. People from all over and all walks of life have made friends. Some boards would give anything for what we have, we can't lose that surely?

Ive only been posting on here for about a month, and ive only been to promise 4 times.. all of which have been good n ive met some really nice people

When I first started posting I was welcomed by everyone n felt at home very quickly, plus I was introduced to every1 off the board at my 1st visit to promise by glitter angel, which I thought was a really nice thing to do!

Ive never abused, bitched or slagged any1 off in my posts.. I havent felt the need too.. but jus because I called a dj wank I get called names and abused by other members! and when I try to defend myself someone deletes my post!

MY POINT.. ITS NOT OK FOR ME TO SLAG A DJ OFF BUT ITS OK FOR OTHER BOARD MEMBERS TO SLAG ME OFF?

If its not ok for people to slag me off why is si's post still there n mine deleted?! I never even started it!
