didnt they have the tidy boys on for first 1..and about 7 people turned up..i was 1.....reverb was class,especialy the people who came in from the comedy club next door?????????....or was a tripping see'ing sheets as ghosts and a fox having a picnic on the dancefloor??

Misjah is still about, was playing/making techno for years, but recently he's on more of a minimal/electrohousey tip I think

As far as nights go, in terms of the number of events, from here it looks pretty healthy; obviously don't have a clue what attendances are like mind.....

Personally I think that digital have helped the scene locally by injecting a bit of life into it again, it's got people interested in clubbing again, which it seems has proliferated round to the smaller nights too as a result. People don't always want to go to the big club, and if they actually like some of the music, and recognise the people playing, they'll maybe head to one of the other nights getting flyered outside next time....but as far as I'm concerned if they hadn't gone to digital, they might not be exploring those options, ie without Digitals mass marketing and high profile DJ schedule, these people might not even know clubs that play this sort of music existed in Newcastle......so to me all they have done is increased the number of people in the city who are aware of dance music going on in the city, which can't possibly be a bad thing, can it?
