i went 4 years ago when it was up n coming then

it was a really busy place then, very small and has all the bars in one street which is better in my opinion

it was full of fanny back then but its probly turned into a sausagefest by now as all these resorts usually do

and providing u dont mind RnB played 24/7, it shudnt be to bad for u

I went a few years back. It was a total shitehole similar to kavos. But its cheap and its hot so its better than nothing.

DJ minos at club UK is good, sort of an older eddie haliwell, plays trance and does loads of scratching1

If you do end up going there, jump in a taxi and ask them to take you to Hersonisiss - about a mile along the road and LOADS better!!

had a great time in malia, but its deffo not somewhere to take a lass like. its spot on for cheap drink and theres hens aplenty. just dont go if your heads stuck up your own arse.
theres fuck all to do in malia during the day, either sit round a pool, or go to the beach.
crete is a beautiful island and you really really need to hire a moped and blast about in the mountains all day every day in my opinion. hersonisis is a short ride away, its a dutch resort, and the bars etc there are superb. quite upmarket and classy. star beach is quite cool aswell, bungee jumping, water park, music etc.
the bars in malia are nearly all just a glorified yard with carport affair. it gets a bit rough on a night. you can detect an atmosphere. if youre looking for trouble then its the place to be lol. they have a private security firm employed, who are a bit like the army gone wrong. if theres any sign of bother, they wade in with fucking huge maglite torches.
crete claims to have the biggest outdoor nightclub in the world, i never went but they have events with all world class DJs on, its just past hersonisis i think, next to the waterpark

we were ment to go to that outdoor nightclub to see tiesto
the one night where we got to see a decent dj and here some decent music but when we got there they told us that tiesto had cancelled, we were on the coach with a load of dutch people aswell, everyone was pissed off
it was a total scam, they ended up taking us to some shitty warehouse and put some local dj's on that we had never heard of
