He gets bonus points for crowd interaction as well.
Not a lot of big names like him will do what he does.

picotto sells out because he is a big named DJ, not coz hes all that good. i like him, but in small doses. but i think most people who go to see him go because of who he is, not because of the music he plays, i think once they get there and he gets into his set, people are shocked because he's not what they expect.

Ive never been on crasher board but to be honest i think 6 hrs might even bash my brains a little.

for real, techno isnt really 4 me...

loads of his productions are class but i just feel from wat ive seen his sets are a little boring...when he played @ the birthday for example to me it all sounded virtually the same for 3 hours with only a couple of big records that standed out....dj elite - fuct camera, midfield general - coatnoise and verdi. me finks they are the only 3 records i can remember him playing in the whole 3 hours!!!

as for 6 hours...well i dont really want to imagine

i know what ive just said is dead negative but it just my opinion...if he plays promise again i'll be there hoping to god he can prove me wrong...

the reason i went to see them for the first time was coz my big brother told me to, the first time i seen them i didnt have a clue who they were, but once i'd heard them i thought they were good, so i went again, when i first seen picotto id never even heard of him, n didnt have a clue what to expect. i didnt go to promise for the first time coz a big named DJ was on, the first time i went i didnt have a clue bout music, but now i understand it.

all im saying is that people are shocked by what they hear when the likes of picotto is on, yes he draws crowds, but the wrong ones, he doesnt attract people who are there for the music, he attracts people who think they may have heard of him before.

yea i thought he was ok the 1st time he played promise as well...was very disapointed last time though.

he isnt really my style but no doubt i'll see him play a few more times over the next year, me hopes he will impress me more than last time..
