Jimi Has Been Banned Again

i think the question is has jimmy emailed nezza or hacked into his account?

I banned him. Hes had more than enough warnings...Im not gona fucking give him a hand written and signed caution its a message board not a police station. Hes not banned for long but it was a racist comment that was reported, therefore I banned him. Will give him a chance to go out and get some xmas shopping done.

Why shouldn't council members be allowed to report racist posts?

I think it's racist as do quite a few other people. You can't expect everyone to share the same opinion on stuff all the time. We are entitled to our opinion and it doesn't neccessarily mean we're wrong because you don't share the same opinion.

I thought the reason for having different mods was so there was a wider spectrum of opinions for stuff like this.

If you're not happy then why doesnt the council do something to stop this probelm from occurring? That would be the simple option.

i think his post can be taken a number of ways.

tbh it dont affect me, its just its plain to see that some people are setting him up for their wider plan which is having him chucked off the council

end of the day when he is voted back onto council in jan 07 he is part of the team that decides mods / admin and i can easily think of 2 people he wont be supporting

I did start a thread re warnings but nobody else ever got involved. And Jimi was already on the list for warnings

There was a case a few weeks ago I tried discussing in there about the possible banning of someone but nobody else bothered.

I think a warning system being set up is a godd idea but the only person who's contributed to the warning thread is me

ive seen other comments that could be seen as racist slip past, ive just reported one but i see more ill be reporting them too if thats how its to be done

Another point, we all warned Jimi about his conduct in the council forum. He chose to ignore that. I can't help that.
