    I cant believe some of the figures being quotes for gyms! You're mental if you want to give someone £600 a year to get fit!

    Just go for a jog round the park ffs

    do pressups

    do situps

    go to B&Q and lift some serious brickage. You could even test out the wheel barrows by filling them full of bricks and wheeling them round forhours on end

    bench press girls (you might pull aswell once they sit your rippling muscles shining in the moonlight)

    get your nieces and nephews to hold onto your leg while you swing it back and forward

    trance_fan, get yaself to men at work, the one above the cash and carry at two ball lonnen, they have everything u need, reasonable price, and i train there so it cant be that bad! av even got the A Kay Meister training there now

    the only downfall is there is no ladies, but i suppose u can leave that till friday and saturday night down the town man:D

    Was gona join a while ago!

    i dont see the point in paying X amount to join a gym. I go for Runs all the time, Jesmond pool around the corner from where i live. Weights bench in my house with dumbells etc. Do a bit of boxing too with my housemate.

    Interesting stuff Charley - someone else reccomended that, but I wasn't too sure as it's the sort of gym I imagine to be full of BIG men wearing motorcycle chains around their necks, juicing between their sets of bench press and bicep curls....so I would need to go with someone I knew :lol:

    How much does it cost per month? And how often do you go?
