Joe + Confuzzled

Why have I been dragged into this. Me and Joe havent been arguing anymore and Ruth has hardly been on here for the last 2 weeks.

Question for Mark.

Why does it bother you so much about a new board member having the piss taken out of them? When Ruth was getting stick off joe and we made it clear she was very offended, nobody did anything. You all ignored it and it was the more serious of these instances. Joe has done far worse to established members of the board so why be bothered by him this time round with a new member??

I remember a year ago when I came to the board and I got a nice warm reception from the likes of Glitter, Karl, MOZ, and I think even Joe. I would hate to be a newbie right now.

The Promise board was renowned for 'not being full of dicks who harsh like Gurn'.

You misread what I wrote... When glitter and co joined... the old schoolers got harsh.

To be honest all of the petty bickering is getting tedious. Trading insults etc can be funny when done well, but most of it now isn't. The majority of stuff going on now is just insulting for the sake of it, as well as being repetitive.

I'm not aiming that at anyone in particular, just a general viewpoint. It is making the board very boring.

It shouldnt just be an issue for new members though. Especially when people make complaints and nobody does anything about it. It should be taken seriously no matter who it is. Everybody deserves the same treatment

Mark dismissed it. Now he complains about Joe's treatment of a new member when it wasnt as bad as the other case. Surely you must be able to see my point
