well, i dont think he should have been found innocent, as my dads mate was attacked a while ago in a hotel in newcastle by john leslie, but refused to do anything about it which i think is wrong. like ppl say, there isnt any smoke without fire.

nothing would of ever come about the john leslie story either until that twit on channel 5 mentioned his name. it then it became a media free-for-all, and the consequences of that have been quite devastating for the bloke.

Sorry 2 interupt but if it is proven that some1 has got kiddie pictures i think it should be in the media......only if its PROVEN mind. Then people know who 2 protect thier kids from.

One of my teachers at secondary school got done 4 having over 10,000 kiddy pics on his computer so its a topic which is pretty close 2 home unfortunately

but until there is a fire, you can't go around branding people.

it is quite easy to start malicious rumours, but much harder to live them down.

In that case there is definitive proof, the john leslie case there wasnt but the media still did the rounds on it

Yeah it isnt fair how they treat most celebrities tho...they break up marriages n shit which isnt fair.

There should be new laws against the media printing hearsay (have i used the right word there?!)

But then u'd b moving into the freedom of speech argument. Laws and codes of conduct already exist. It's a tough one to call.
