Why? You broke the law. Ur not above the law so you'll just have to deal with the consequences. Jambon's got it spot on.

Yeah, I'd complain. You're right, anyone would.

Then I'd get over it and pay my fine and accept my punishment.

He hasn't got it spot on at all though.....

5mph over the limit is within the legal window with fixed speed cameras, peoples speedos can be out by that much!

So by those rules no law has been broken, and they are fining him for the sake of it.

As already said, nobody would just accept that straight up.

60mph, fair enough, that warrants a fine, thats 20% over the limit, but not 55.

some knob head councillor person my mam knows argued the point with them, pushing his weight because he thought he shouldnt get a ticket because of his status, sure enough he wrote a letter of complaint and they realised it would have cost more on their part to try prove he was speeding and the fine wouldnt cover it, so he got off with it

30 limits are usually around houses/schools where there are likely to be kids playing/etc, any1 doing twice the legal limit shouldn't be allowed on the road...

if its late at night then its not as bad but going at 50/60 - if a kid runs into the road even a good way infront of you you're not gonna be able to stop before you hit them :(
