my mother who works for newcastle uni in town says the new uni kids have been inundated with fliers for other nights around town.. special drinks offers? i don't know if that has anything to do with it at all..

there were loads of board members just not many others.

its since i stopped flyering man!! i was promise's top lil flyer girl lol and since i've stopped doin it i've neva eva bin given a flyer off anyone promoting promise when i've bin in town!!! a lot of flyer people do nothink but piss about, esp some of a certain flyer persons staff....
need to get people that reeli give a shit about the nite to flyer not just sum randoms who like r n b cos they not reeli gonna care bout it r they....
i wud neva hav bothered bout giving out flyers n wud hav spend the 3 hours messin on n chattin to people if it hadnt bin 4 a nite that i luved to pieces....
dont know who the 2 flyer people were that had bin flyering round town on the nite but when they came to club later on they didnt even look like the types who wud like dance music!!! ya's need to recruit flyer people who actually go 2 the club and get them to hammer the whole flyering thing n numbers will soon shoot back up again!! xxxx

When you have Jon O'Bir and Guy Ornadel you would think the numbers would of been a little bit better cos i have seen it busier for a poorer line up im sure ?!?! Then throw in the people that come along to see Corvin & Gleave !

I still had a class time, thought Gleave was spot on and same goes for Guy Ornadel too , was to see him getting into it after his set too on the dancefloor !

Jon O'bir tho stole the show for me, when i seen him for first time warming up for Van Dyk at Gods he was amazing and couldnt of done a better job. Since then i have downloaded a few sets of his and his mixing and tune selections are always - for a young lad Godskitchen have done oustanding to get him as ressi and Promise have done class to get him up here when they can, looking forward to the next time he's on !

Was good to meet people that i havent met before, have just got home now from friday after lodging at me mates all weekend - first words when i came in the house "Where u been"

It seems as soon as weve gone to fortnightly Promise, the numbers are down. Sad as it is to say, i think we might be better off goin back to monthly. Not for me personally, cos i love it being fortnightly.

But if the numbers dont pick up soon, thats what might happen. Hopefully with the students back, and big names booked for the next two Promises, numbers will pick up.

just missed Rich, Gleave was good, Corvin was his usual tremedous self - Cookie Dough!!!!!! - Ornadel was the best - loved him... o'bir was good too... a top night mucially wise...

can't believe how quiet it was... even with upstairs shut off.

Lots of regulars there and good showing from the board... Even managed to talk to Jambon and Jackmaster for a bit... with some success....

i'm going to take a risk here... i think it's got alot to do with the price. £13 is alot to pay in newcastle. simple as that. it's going to put the 'new customers' and 'undecided' punters off...
