    I wasn't actually aware that a smoke machine could set off a fire alarm.....it isn't actually smoke is it?? Otherwise we'd all be keeling over from smoke inhalation!! :confused:

    Smoke machines can and do set of fire alarms. Had to stand outside Rockshots once for 45 mins because of it!

    steam can cause smoka alarms to go off...i used to work in the kitchens at proctor & gamble..1 day i opened to dishwasher machine & it set the smoke alarm off...fire brigade automatically came & i cost them bout £5000, ooop's!!! :lol:

    No they aren't! They make Fairy Non-Bio :) It's soft on your skin :love:, and at the moment you can save 90p on a 2.2kg box from Morrisons :up:

    i'm not sure thats how a smoke alarm works, by chemically testing the vapour!! it's usually an infra red sensor, variations in light.

    i've gone into too much detail haven't i? i'll get mi coat.
