Out in the sticks cool as fukk gang! :)
the longest flight i've had was a 11 hour one, it was with monarch, someone next to me was a bit whiffy, the seat was dinky, couldnt get comfortable, and by the time i go there i had listened to the entire ministry of sound radio pre-recorded thing three times. :spangled:

oh, and they showed some rob schieder film, and that liz hurley 'bedazzled' thing. *arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh* :bang: :bang:

as well as that, mine probs seemed so bad cos we drove to manchester airport at 3am, i slept on the way down, couldnt sleep at any point after that, had the nightmare 11 hour flight, then check in etc, changed plane, another hour, then coach for 7 hours. by the time i got to where i was going i wanted to just sleep for a month...

it was an absolute nightmare, but i certainly dont think things like that are the norm, i just got a bad one tbh...

im sure it'll probs be fine, but i would follow the advice given in here, it would have all made my journey that bit easier! :D

All long hall planes have individual tv's now. It's only little planes that don't.

The way there is a piece of piss (unlimited drink :D ) but return journeys with the time differences are horrendous.

I felt like folding after a return journey from San Francisco via Amsterdam.

when I went to Thailand first time round we had MAJOR turbulence.

My dad kept looking at the little map that shows you where you are and what height you are flying at 'Oooh look we're at 40k feet over the Himalayas' as the plane shook like a bastard.

Don't forget ya long haul flight socks, take off your makeup and slap on loads of moisturiser and drink tons of water, the air con dries your skin out and makes you feel like crap.

I always take comfy clothes to change into, plus they give you socks to wear and blankets coz it gets well cold.

Long haul flights dont bother me at all....you get a chance to sit on your arse for hours watching tv and reading and no one can tell you off for not doing anything, also you get brought food: sweet! Id rather endure a flight than never go anywhere :D
