Thank fuck for that. Hated them. As soon as 1pm comes, the Radio gets turned straight over from Radio 1.

If that happens then great. Colin Murray is well funny and works realy well with Edith.

Mark and Lard are gud and have introduced some funny as fuck stuff, but the last year it has got a bit boring as they havent changed anything they have done

    Mark and Lard were class.

I agree some of the stuff was a bit repetitive, particularly lately. Possibly their time was up. They lasted a long time though. Because they never comprimised what they believed, just for the sake of commerciality.

Pretty much agree with Juski's post. But its not the bit about teeny boppers for me, its more the way they subtly took the piss again and again out of the "acceptable" artists, and did it with 80% of the listerners not even knowing they were doing it. I put acceptable in inverted commas, because i mean people like OCS, Texas and Jamiroquai. These people who purport to be "serious artists", but in fact are just as bad as any of the mass produced shite. I just loved the way they got their jibes in against the likes of these, and did it constantly

Although they were forced to play large amounts of shite, they obviously had some say. It was the only time during the day on Radio 1 where the likes of Spiritualized and Grandaddy for example would get a play.

Fat Harry White was always great too. And the Cheesily Cheerful Chart Challenge was great because it always gave them the opportunity to squeeze one or two extra tunes in that would never otherwise get played. It didnt matter which song was most appropriate for the day's story, they would usually pick something decent if they could.

I dont really listen to the Radio a lot, but if im driving around on a weekday, i will usually have the radio on if its between 10 and 3. Before and after that, and there is no chance!

I'll be sad to see them go, they brightened up my afternoon no end. Bernard Wrigly and his ancient folklore of Great Britain got me a many strange look whilst walking around the shop floor with my walkman on, pissing myself laughing at what looked like nothing at all.
