from what it looks like though its not just crasher thats dying or dead i should say....the whole scene apart from a few exceptions seems to be dying on its arse...

...i remember a few years ago where we would pack 3 or 4 amazing clubs/ nites into one weekend and that was every weekend.

now its hard to get to go to 3 or 4 nights a month cos they just dont exsist anymore.

on the plus side though your right about the smaller nights...i can count on one hand how many amazin nites ive had this year...and none of them have been for the usual tired big names or same old dj's

2004 is gunna be an interesting one...

Gatecrasher has been suffering for a long time now, matts definately left at the right time. Crasher is far too gready, when it does put club nights on the prices are ridiculous (£25 to get into a club!)

Also they mainly neglect and dont put enough effort into its UK nights cos it can make much more from overseas club nights and from beer boy nights.

On saturdays its called S1 1DJ@Gatecrasherone 'because a superclub is for life,' even tho it's playing commercial r'n'b and dance, money is clearly the only thing their interested in.

looking at the various reviews of Boxing Night on the GC forum,
it's hardly surprising really. They've gone way downhill and a lot quicker
than I thought was possible, especially after the heights they reached 'back
    in the day'!

The GC hierarchy, and Simon Raine in particular have been the sole reason
why the club has fallen by the way side. They've never communicated properly
with the clubbers who made GC what it was and have conducted themselves in
the most arrogant way possible. The countless stunts they've performed over
the years would've been unthinkable for other clubs who'd never dream of
treating their regulars in such a way. It was typified by the last minute
cancellation of their newest guests Lange plus Above & Beyond without any
    reason or announcement.

Like they've all said on the forums, it'll do MH good to get away and GC is
more or less 'brown bread' now I'm afraid to say.
