    The people who complain about christmas lights are generally the same ones who write to Points Of View and express their horror at Frank Butcher wearing nothing but a rotating bowtie...its not a race issue, its a dickhead issue but the tabloids jump onto it in the name of our 'national identity'....what exactly is our national identity these days: One of an overweight, drunk, aggressive, pregnant, benefit abusing horror? Give me the keys to Mecca over that anyday

    i think it's rediclous about the christmas lights.

    other examples include how fenwicks no longer has nativity references in the christmas window. So as not to "offend"

    I'm glad christmas wasn't like this when i was a kid.

    How long before the term CHRISTmas becomes unacceptable?

    1. We start wars, invade countries, and generally piss people off with a certain religious bias.

    2. terrorists attack us, we jump all over the religious aspect of it all.

    3. do good white people get scared that celebrating any kind of religion or patriotic symbolism will incite violence.

    4. the same do good people then pull down flags, remove christmas decorations so 'as not to offend'

    5. media jump all over this again as our sovereignty and religion being attacked.

    6. the masses buy the newspapers and perpetuate the hate and fear

    7. Goto point (3.) Repeat.

    8. Make everyone need ID cards as a form of 'protection' - and that will be 100 quid for everyone needing one thank you very much.

    The obsession with finding a blame/hate object just creates a merry go round. If anything - blame our governments and 'allies' for starting it all off in the first place.

    What was all that carry on with the teacher and the veil all about anyway? She reckoned that all Muslim women have to wear veils. RUBBISH! people like her give most Muslims a bad name. I didnt see Muslim women keeping their veils on when the Taliban were removed from power. Stupid Cow, if she ever knocks at my door I'll just talk to her through the fuckin letter box.

    To top things off a few days later she was pictured walking behind her husband. Her husband dressed in an American flight jacket and Jeans :lol:
