    Ok they won Mercury Music prize, BUT they never had that much commercial success.

    'The Real People'

    early/mid ninties act from the north west, influenced people like 'the verve' in their early days... have always played small venues never made it big. Saw them at 'the charlotte' in Leicester - a bit like what the cluney is to Newcastle

    GET ON THOSE P2P APPLICATIONS NOW and download stuff like 'words' , 'Everydays the same', 'window pane'

    PLEASE - GO GET THEM - you won't be disapointed

    for ages i only ever had the first half on a tatty old tape in my Mini... i listened to it constantly on my many journeys from leicester to newcastle while at uni :love:
