do you have a clue about anything you say? you're one of the most uneducated idiots I've ever encountered, watching a 1 hour documentary on c4 does not entitle you to an opinion.
the taliban forced the soviet army to retreat, the veterans are skilled guerilla fighters who can survive quite well in the mountains... and theres plenty of those in afghanistan/pakistan. theyre obviously no match for our lads like
I can only just be bothered to give u these keys words Joe your so off form tonight its embarrassing Russia Viet Cong Local Terrain
Israels army is almost as large as ours... and an armys size isn't a reflection of its capabilities - look at India, it has the biggest army in the world.... America have a record of losing wars, vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan - they have an amazing technological army and a massive amount of troops... but they suck at combat.
one of my sisters mates went into the israeli army on national service at the time of 9/11... wouldn't envy him one bit.
you're a complete moron aren't you.. hoestly, go outside breathe some air, its an bright exciting world outside your bedroom.. watch out for the darkies though, they're out to get you
you come from the region with the highest unemployment in the UK, it pains me to say it but the scousers aren't a patch on you lot.. but you just don't get it do you - the hospital is NHS, now, think about this one cos I know it'll be tough for your little pea brain to comprehend - who do you think pays for the NHS I gather you can read as your posts are semi legible, so it shouldn't be too hard for you to back you facts up here...
I'm confused, whats your point? The Russians weren't fighting the taliban, they were fighting many mujahideen. The vietcong were vietnamese - they had nothing to do with the taliban. Being unfamiliar with a terrain puts a military force at a disadvantage, its not unique to Afghanistan, I need only take your example of Vietnam to demonstrate this... Its got nothing to do with the Taliban being hard to catch and contain - they're a bog standard guerilla force operating in a familiar territory.
