I donate a lot of money, I participate in peace marches, I try to educate those that speak on a matter they know little about... short of moving to Iraq theres not much more I can do.

And telling me to move out there was a stupid comment, I'm an Englishman speaking about an injustice that my country are heavily involved in.

    Its my democratic right :p

you could devote your whole life to inventing a biological weapon that kills terrorist and no one else.

i know your english joe, i just meant if your think that the people that run our country are so bad why do you put up with it, why not live somewhere that you don't oppose

Because this is my homeland, this is the country I love, this is where I was born, this is where my family live, its where my friends live, its where my business is.

This is a democracy - it is the British public that decide who runs our country.... I show my disapproval of the government with my vote... Not by moving to Iraq?!?!?!?

Alex what the fuck are you talking about?!?!?

I disagree with my countrys foreign policy.....

Are you seriously suggesting that you'd move to another country if you disagreed with a war your country was involved in?

it's not pc bullshit you tool, it's just a different point of view to the narrow minded bigoted hogwash you're coming out with... or do you really think that saying I should emigrate to Iraq because I disagree with the UK's foreign policy is serious debate???

Thats not what I said... of course there will be those on benefits, just like the chavs up the road from wherever you live. You're forgetting that families and communities of asian descent didn't just appear overnight, people have been coming to the UK and settling since the second world war and before.

To assume that these people, who's families have lived here for years "don't belong here" is a stupid, dangerous attitude to hold. They have just as much right to be here as you. They have families, businesses, friends, and a life here that the majority of them have made for themselves.

If you insult something that someone (as well as their entire family and possibly even their community) believe in passionately and hold dear then what do you expect them to do? Sit there and say nothing? Not likely. Especially when it comes to religion.

What has happened over the last few days has been an outburst of anger by muslims across the world and (in a few isolated cases) a chance for extremists to stir up trouble. The more civilised and restrained of the followers of islam have protested against said cartoons, what hasn't been of focus in our media is the fact that protests in Iran, Egypt, Pakistan and Iraq passed off peacefully.

I wouldn't be surprised if a few people regretted their actions in London yesterday as it wasn't an action reflective of the muslim populace in this country.

Omar Khayam, the man dressed as the suicide bomber yesterday, has issued an apology stating that "I understand it was wrong, unjustified and insensitive of me to protest in this way."

and christ there's plenty of them round here..

the extreme muslim reactionaries play up to the simple minded whose retort is predictably 'kill the pakis, send em back on the boat' yaddi yaddi yah.. I couldn't give a fuck about someone burning the flag of any country, turn the tables and the same 'monkey see - monkey do' morons you see setting fire to buildings and flags would be the uneducated scum who spout the sand nigger shit on here.. yet probably with a lot less conviction and organisation I suspect..

the fundamental issue has nothing to do with the media circus.. this has been part of sharai law for over a thousand years.. what was the point in this excercise other than to unneccesarily stir up a hornets nest for the sake of it?

the law was hardly detrimental to freedom of speech, which seems to be the tagline attatched to this pathetic stunt and whatever they say it wasn't symbolic of any other higher anti libertarianism in the arab world either.. it was a piece of art (not in the literal sense), a project of european arrogance against something held so precious by muslims and yet another fantastic example of why non-westerners hold such contempt for for us.

i just hate the hypocrits that hate us but love our charity system. In my last job the amount of asians on benefits was extremely high compaired to other 'races', every other claim was from people of asian decent. the majority of false claims were from asians and africans. i could say things that would appear racist but are simply facts, facts which the pc brigade will not acknowledge.

aaah you're looking through those rose tinted spectacles where the great british public slaves away day in day out and all willingly contribute to the country in any way they can...

get with the script you imbocele.

your comment wasn't racist per se, but it was actively looking for racism.

my mate works part time at alder hey hospital in liverpool, 60 staff in his office, 25 on long term sick, no asians. one had the cheek to ring up last week and ask for a pay rise even though shes been on long term illness for nearly two years... then you compare it to the chinese cleaning staff, phillipino nurses, indian doctors who work without relent on shit wages in shit conditions while some fat scouse slag is sat at home watching trisha and sucking our welfare system dry..

if you're going to start labelling blame in regards the state of the country, you really need to start looking a lot closer to home.

the fundamental flaw in your comment was that they were scousers

i have no qualms with chinese, philipino or indian workers as i know theyre contributing to society and the ecconomy, and i acknowledge the fact that alot of native people sponge off their employer. but atleast theyre employed.

You can't really say that unless you're quoting from benefit statistics nationwide, that could have been biased due to several factors (for example you could have had a large asian population served by the place you worked at).

If you had quoted detailed statistics from the entire country and they backed up your argument you may have had a point, however I doubt that this is the case throughout the UK.
