i cant post the statistics theyre clasified under government law, put it this way i covered the whole of the UK and the claimants we dealt with were probably 2:1 white british to british asian / asian. considering theres vastly more white british than any other race id say they ratio was extremely high.

im being a bit general when i say asian, most claimants were pakistani, bangladeshi. ther was also vast contact with algerian & nigerian immigrants. its clear to see were being milked for money

aye, but the inland revenue are not allowed to release personal information and i cant get stats as i wasnt up the higher end of the food chain and therefore didnt have access to government statistics, all i had to do was listen and look and i got the general idea of who i was dealing with

any info we had on paper had to go through the shredders, we werent even allowed to tell the claimants what info we had on them, they had to request it through the directors office in netherton, merseyside.

thats if thy didnt have a copy of the form they have to sign every so often

what do you mean a specific grop of people, like i alrady stated i was in contact with people from all over the UK. and also like i stated i cant get statistics as we werent allowed any copies of information on claimants. you may be able to get somet of the hmrc website, but i doubt itle tell you what were on about.

the amount of people the revenue shop each year for under declaring is quite high. we had alot of asian shop keepers telling us their total gross income was somet like £2500.

another popular scam is telling us they had 4 highly disabled children all born within the same day.

That has the findings out unemployment rate amongst ethnic groups - make of it what you will but here is a basic load of facts: (bare in mind this is 03/04)

Bangladeshi's and 'mixed ethnic' backgrounds had the highest unemployment rate of 18% and 17% respectively, closely followed by Black Africans, Black Carribeans & Pakistanis, although Pakistanis were more likely to be self emplyed than any other.

Chinese and White British hold the lowest unemployment rate of around 5%-7%.

It is also noted that those of non-white ethnic groups were more likely than those of ethnic white group to be economically inactive - that is not actively looking or available for employment.
