Newcastle IS too small for an established trance night, and has no 'feeder' cities to bring people in (in numbers) ........ why else do you think Promise eventually died off?

There just aint enough people around who are consistantly in number to pack out a 1300 capacity club monthly.

Just because the odd special line up or arena gig is/was full, doesnt say much about the long term established habits or tastes of the locals.

Trance for alot of people always was a bandwagon that was jumped on for a short while. Why else was there a Kevin and Perry movie made about trance, and not about Techno/Funky House/House etc etc...
