once again it's part of this fuckin nanny state the government operates in this country!

Can they not just let people get on with what they want to do!

I pay my taxes so i have every right to end up in a cancer ward taking up a bed!! Bought and paid for!!

errr no.... some people dont actually wanna have to breath in other peoples filthy habbit everytime they go out anywhere to enjoy themselves.

just cos some people fancy smoking all night long doesnt mean everyone else near them has to endulge in their nasty habbit.

clubs and other popular venues should either stop smoking in main areas or increase the ventilation so it sucks air like a thai prostitute whos been given £50.

im sick of waking up in the morning with a bad chest and stinking of smoke. the majority of second hand smoke is unfiltered so it does more harm to people who dont breath it in intentionaly

smoking do so much harm to this country its fucking ridiculous. the amount of mony and time the nhs has to spend on people who have smoke related illnesses is fucking daft.

    estimated cost £1.7 bn
    estimated deaths 83,200

    source - NHS

and the amount made from tabacco tax?

second hand smoke - i agree with - i don't want to inflict it on anyone else however - smokers DO pay NI contributions and tax on tabacco - why should they be denied treatment?

EDIT: i don't smoke by the way.

EDIT 2: i might have a tab friday night when pished.

number 1 if someones having a pint next to me it doesnt get me pished or harm me in anyway (unless theyre chav ***** who gan out looking for trouble)

number 2 its only fair that tabacco tax should fund the nhs as the nhs is put under alot of strain by smoking related illnesses.

smoking causes so many illnesses espesh when people smoke regularly.

majority of people only get pished at weekends and most dont get so bladderd that they end up like geroge bests liver twin

so whats the lee's kid point?

passive smoking - bad. i agree. IF the goverment were that bothered about health- they'd out right ban it, never mind just public places - fact is they can't afford to lose the income from tabacco.

hhmm... i'm sure i've typed all that b4... it's like groundhog day.

    and i've typed that too.:spangled:
