I grew up in Amble have lived there nearly all my life. It is definately getting a lot worse for young kids and drugs than when I was younger.

Very bad crack about those lads in the car, I feel sorry for the parents :(

DONT GO TO SUNDERLAND FOR OBVIOUS REASONS AND ONLY GO TO TEESIDE IF YOU WANT YOU MOBILE PHONE, BANK CARDS, CLOTHES AND OTHER STUFF NICKED OFF YA AT KNIFE POINT, IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THE ONLY ADVANTAGE TO TEESIDE IS IF YOUR SHORT OF MONEY IT HAS A RED LIGHT DISTRICT WHERE YOU CAN PEDDLE YOUR TRADE BUT I DOUBT YOU'D MUCH MONEY FROM IT, BETTER THEN NOWT THO:dunce:

Sunderland St Peters campus is nice but the City campus is a shit hole.

Sunderlands got a good reputation for IT facilities and has won awards from the likes of the Times.

However I would still say Northumbria.

I do Network Computing at Sunderland, I have no complaints. At the end of the day in IT you either know it or you don't, its not like Law etc.

Although if I could have done the same course at Northumbria I would have, purely for the convenience.

Aye, I work for Amble Drop In, and 2nd Base, which is a seperate information project on the High Street.

It will more than likely be the same child abuse case

If your ever in town, pop up and visit. I'm based on 47 High Street, just above The Bread Bin bakery. I'll give you a stash of free blobs and various lube. Even got some femidoms and oral dams! Apparantly, the kids have been taking the rings out of the femidoms, placing them between the mattress and base of their bed, and having poshies!

Was wondering why there was shitloads of wellys lying about in gutters on the street. Saw a bunch of kids blowing them up like balloons the other day. The ways to keep yourself entertained in Amble are endless :monkey:

It's the only reason stupid people go to University. To do pointless degrees at former polytechnics which get them no further forward in life, and accumulate large debts.

University is actually useful though, if you go to a decent one.

    i would say it is.

you could have learned a lot more, or specialised in one area and got a lot further.

    imo anyway
