To be honest i do that.

Unless its a chillie or curry or stir fry i have to eat everything individually.

If its a normal meal with a few different components, Roast dinner for example i have to eat the carrots frst then brocolli etc....

Dunno why i just do, and i awlasy eat in order of the least liked food.

I cant eat unless i have matching knife and fork either.

i used to have great fun prodding her 3 times then running off...

Re: Re: Re: Re: obsessive compulsive disorder

has that been published in a peer reviewed journal?

i couldn't see anything that said so but only had a quick look...

an i'd be wary of the reliability/accuracy of something that hasn't, esp when there's the bias concerned with what site its on!

actually that study hasn't even been done yet has it?

an its basing its theory on the fact that you don't get ocd compulsions while twatted on LSD. no shit!

I dont know what you mean by walking back on yourself!?

Most of what people call OCD is just rountines we all go through however daft they may be.

i always have to have things symetrical. not just remote controls next to me on the settee etc, right down to things in my field of vision. i'll move my sitting position so that the bottom of the tv is parallel with the coffee table etc. lucy keeps on catching me doin it and takes the piss. not my fault :(

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: obsessive compulsive disorder

Maps is the largest psychedelic research organisation in the world, it's nothing to do with bias, who else would be likely to conduct research like that. It's nothing concrete, but it's promising and had FDA approval (not exactly easy to come by).

I don't see why it would be obvious that people wouldn't get OCD compulsions on LSD, some might expect it to send them into overdrive (the research is geared more towards psilocybin anyway). It is believed that OCD is a seratonin related disorder. Psilocybin is a chemical derivative of seratonin and works on that receptor amongst others, the theory is based on ideas derived from the fact that it has an afinity to certain possible OCD inducing receptors in your brain :)redface: ), not just that you forget to have OCD because you're battered (it goes into some detail about that).

Oh and I believe they did conduct the research, there are reports on the website.

I never said I'd found a cure for OCD, just posted the link in a tongue and cheek way, but that's not to say that it's a load of shit.
