Not really like, where in my post have i mentioned how big/small/good/bad he is as a DJ? Its just a fucking shit way to run a night and get the benefit of his mates paying into the club to see him play only to be fucked off before hes due to go on.

Id have thought you would appreciate supporting your mates in situations like this anyways, arent you still crying after James & John never got paid by Goodgreef?

It takes the piss when your a dj from any level because regardless of how big a name you are you'll still be spendin the week before gigs buyin music and lookin forward to the night your playin on the weekend + gettin all your m8's to come.

The way they went about tellin him he wasn't playin was a joke, this would have already been aparant before the night if Matt was playin a 3hr set as on the promo but as you can see from the other comments this wasn't the case as he finished at 1:30am. This left 2hrs for him and Luke Terry but only Luke played.

Someone tellin him he isn't playin at 1am is a fuckin joke when he was told by Deakin at the start of the night he was playin the last hour.

The decision was made to shut the club an hour early (possibly at 3) and with Matt due to finish at 2:30 thats not enough time for two Dj's.

We were then informed not long before Luke went on that Matt only wanted to play till 1:30 as oppose to the scheduled 2:30 by which time Gary had already left, this is why Gary was told so late in the night and Luke got an extra hour.

We convey our apologies for both Gary and his supporters in this matter and will ensure this situation does not occur again.

still doesnt go any way to explaining how some punters knew 24hrs before proudy did. why was it getting shut an hour early anyways ?

The club management wanted to shut at 3 o'clock as oppose to 4 o'clock as origionally posted for wehat ever reason?

Its a shame on Event holders aswell as the Djs i say, coz at the end of the day when a Venue closes the djs n event holders cant really do alot, which is a bit of a cunt

Take away the yet to be established venue and Promise + Matt 3hr set is enough to wet anyones lips!!! Im sure you'd fancy it anyhow I certainly did.

There was talk of the doormen having a say as the club was'nt full. It should'nt be up to anyone else but the manager as its the punters pay the wages.

Does that mean there was'nt many people there? Im sure you have some interaction with the club.

Id like to apologise for all those that made the effort & paid to come see me play on Friday night, moreso those that travelled from further afield & those that dont even like the music but were there never the less in support of me, you's know who you's are & know im always grateful.

Im really not sure what happend on Friday, all I can say is that I was booked to play the last hour of the night & an hour or so before I was due on I was told I wasn't required. I was dissapointed as I've been a fan of Matt for as long as I can remember & to be billed alongside him meant a lot, but I do respect these things happen.

Im not sure how people knew I wouldn't be playing 24 hours before the night but will endevour to find out where/who it came from, im hoping it was just a rumour that ended up being a strange coincidence.

Why's that? It's pretty unfair to the people who paid to see a 3 hour set. I might go home from work at 12 tomorrow instead of 5 because I dont feel like it, then again I'd end up with the sack.

Matts bag was lost on the way back from his gig the night before so he was not able to play the full 3 hours

We decided to close the event at three and this is what time it will close from now on

Unfortunately gary was not able to play as we wanted to finish on a trance tip , gary will be on at the next event
this was not decided till late on friday

Out of the 500 or so people that attended i,d say about 97% left happy
