Opinions on lineups?

LOL nah its not that bad mate, most of the students are 'band types' but theres alot of people i know personally who venture off into Newcastle or further every weekend. Sunderland also got alot of cool bars recently and they play some decent stuff.

The spider gets a bit techy towards 3am and people respond well to it, place is packed (and very expensive too).

Like I said, its never going to change unless somebody does something.

Friday / Saturday is the only nights I go in, think they have alot of black music on a Sunday. Cant remember spefici tracks cos I'm usually hammered, but its deffo stuff that you'd hear in the tech/prog section of any good record store.

But like I say its towards the end of the night, its still packed but I dont think the DJ gives a fuck what he plays after being on all night.

EDIT: Greg Downey's agent is sending us the contracts, though I cant confirm he's going to be there just yet - for obvious reasons.

Promise died when it went to Sunderland - and that had hardwick on!

Didn't they do it at Privilege? Absolutely no wonder it died, and it wouldn't surpise me if the got fucked in the ass off the management their as well. Andy Sutton, wanker!

I agree with any of the discover dj's, maybes not downey as he's on next week but someone who hasnt been up here for a while!
Also agree with Will Holland... can't wait to see him, some of his stuff is the business like!

Its not till August anyway mate. Going to look into Sander and Holland, see what the crack is.

It was a toss up between Downey and O'Callaghan, think we're going for Downey. Still looking for another headliner though.
