i love people with condesending attitudes towards drugs - they used to do it, but 'don't need it now' - well good luck with your MBE

People don't want to go to Sunderland because it's in the shadow of Newcastle and no where near as good. When i lived in Leeds, Bradford was treated the same, 6 miles down the road, had some nice places in... but LEEDS is up the road - why would you bother with Bradford??!?!?

Club nights in Newcastle are struggling in the current difficult climate

Like it or not, most people who go to clubs are on drugs, illegal or not.

.... as people have said, i find it totally hilarious the number of 'old hands' that come on here and pontificate their opinions on drugs being bad towards everyone else, as if they have suddenly ascended to some kind of higher plane of existance.

........And here was me thinking it was just a clubbers message board - i never knew we were in the presence of such absolute greatness.

Im sure theres loads of people who go out and dont do anything, as much as theres tons who do .... and they DONT find the need to rub their opinions in everyones face.

being in a club where everybody is pissed up on alcohol is a very unpleasant experience IMO. You're constantly on the lookout for someone who wants to punch you in the face. I don't know where people get off with being so superior about only being bladdered

I think one of the main reasons people don't go to Bradford is becasue you are highly likely to get shot from some asian raj packet who believes he is bollywoods next fiddy cent.

If youv'e got the Capital to start a night, willing to put the graft in, in regards to promotion etc...
Live for the moment, get Van Dyk, Halliwell or Armin on @ the Carling Academy.

Never to be seen again you leave town possesing only your earnings on a horse (like Zoro's) living safe in the knowledge you have taken Newcastle by the bollox, sold out your very first event & left with a reputation & legacy that will be on peoples grankids lips sharing cheap wine round the shops for years.

If all else fails, but a half arsed line-up on at a local charva bar, well within your budget, poorly promoted, leaving enough for you to treat the local 'sharon' at your night to a few drinks & tell her some bollox about how your night is the next big thing whilst always living in the hope of the above dream.

Gary, thats pretty much what I want to do now. I was gonna use people like Paul van Dyk and Armin just to put us on the map really, then start bringing in new talent once people knew who we were. The budget is there, the business sense is too, as are most of the other elements, but for me its just a matter of time before I can get something off the gound.

I'm really not fussed if it fails and I loose money, i just really really really wanna have a shot at doing it to see what happens.

Mistak, it was another little club just round the corner, wasn't privilege but I've known them to be dirty fuckers as well. Mixed opinions on John Shaw, he does that thing in the Sunderland Echo on Thursdays with Street Boy. Together they keep the chavs informed of the lastest pop-trance-shite-shuff (Cascada).

Well lets just say if the first few nights dont work out so well, I'll definately consider bringing it to Newcastle. But then I'd run the risk of stepping on people's toes, like Evolve and Junior G!
