    i bought a 2007 rockhopper late january, my first was a 97 model

    im on it more or less everyday :love:

    i got the base model so i could do my own upgrades once i broke stuff :eek:

    im changing to a 48 tooth chainwheel this week so i can get passed 30 mph on the roads :D

    I imagine you would use some road tyres too. 30mph on a mtb is seriously hard work

    a road bike would do it a lot easier

    still running stock mtb tyres

    i've had 32mph on a flat cycle path and have done 38.6 with a hill - that was as fast as my legs could go though - looking forward to the bigger chainring

    my downfall was putting a speedo on it :lol:

    320 is a tempting offer if its a genuine offer like.

    But even 350 is still a good price for this, its immaculate.
